I would like to share this site I thought was really worth looking at. I have tried oil painting years ago and I know how talented a person needs to be to paint something and bring it to life. this is one of my favorite sites to visit. Painting

CHOCOLATE CHERRY SUNFLOWER

I found this blog to be very informative and interesting. The picture I have on my banner is of a Sunflower I was not familiar with (could it be a “Chocolate Cherry Sunflower”) as pictured on this blog

http://www.yougrowgirl.com/

I planted a box of mixed Sunflowers so I have quite a variety, and I am not familiar with them all.

Dog and Flowers

Dog and Flowers

This is a picture of my largest sunflower, unfortunately just when it started to set a head we had a strong thunder storm and in the morning the flower was laying on the ground, I was really disappointed the stock was really tall and I was waiting to see how large the flower would get. The dog was kind enough to pose in the picture to get some perspective of how large the stem was.
